Auxiliary

Amicae [ah-me-ky]

Established in 1948, the Zeta Amicae (Friends of Zeta) is the first national auxiliary of a collegiate sorority. Graduate chapters of Zeta Phi Beta began to realize the importance of the prestige, goodwill, and support of women who, for various reasons, were not members of any Greek-letter organization. As a result, the first Amicae auxiliary was established in 1948, and Houston, Texas is the home of the first chartered Amicae auxiliary.

Members of Amicae auxiliaries are provided with opportunities to attend conferences, network with Amicae from other areas, and develop lifelong relationships while serving their communities.

Zeta Amicae of Syracuse

The Zeta Amicae of Syracuse, chartered November 23, 1991, works closely with Kappa Xi Zeta Chapter, but create their own initiatives to support the needs of the Syracuse community.
